In the 1960s, a young and talented medical student tries to make a name for himself. "Koro Hazama" is a quiet young man with unusual black and white hair, a body covered in scars, and a dark past. Despite being only a medical student, his exceptional surgical skills attract attention; especially after successfully performing an operation that seemed impossible. He dedicates himself to the world of medicine alongside "Maiko Okamoto", a lively and honest intern, and "Yabu", a close friend who has a troubled life.
